United States Secret Service
The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security. It was established in 1865, originally to combat counterfeit currency. Today, its primary missions include protecting the President, Vice President, and visiting foreign dignitaries, as well as securing major national events.
