United Bermuda Party
The United Bermuda Party (UBP) is a political party in Bermuda, founded in 1964. It was established to represent the interests of the Bermudian people and promote economic development, social stability, and good governance. The UBP has historically been one of the two major political parties in Bermuda, alongside the Progressive Labour Party (PLP).
The UBP has experienced various electoral successes and challenges over the years. It governed Bermuda from 1968 until 1998, when it lost power to the PLP. The party continues to play a role in Bermuda's political landscape, advocating for policies that support business and community development.
