United Airlines Flight 93 was a domestic passenger flight that was hijacked on September 11, 2001, during a series of coordinated terrorist attacks in the United States. The flight took off from Newark International Airport in New Jersey, bound for San Francisco International Airport.
The hijackers took control of the aircraft, intending to target a location in Washington, D.C.. However, passengers on board learned about the attacks and attempted to regain control, leading to the plane crashing into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, preventing further destruction and loss of life.
