Unitas Fratrum
Unitas Fratrum, also known as the Moravian Church, is a Protestant denomination that originated in the 15th century in what is now the Czech Republic. It was founded by followers of the reformer John Hus, who sought to promote a more personal and communal approach to Christianity. The church emphasizes the importance of community, mission work, and education.
The Moravian Church is known for its rich traditions, including the practice of love feasts and a strong commitment to music and hymnody. It has a global presence, with congregations in various countries, and continues to focus on outreach and social justice initiatives.
