Undocumented Youth
Undocumented youth are individuals, typically under the age of 18, who reside in a country without legal immigration status. Many of these young people were brought to the country by their parents at a young age and have grown up in their new environment, often speaking the local language and integrating into the community.
These youth face unique challenges, including limited access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Programs like DREAM Act aim to provide pathways for undocumented youth to obtain legal status, allowing them to pursue higher education and contribute to society without fear of deportation.
