Underdeveloped Countries
Underdeveloped countries, often referred to as developing nations, are nations with lower levels of industrialization, lower income per capita, and lower Human Development Index (HDI) scores. These countries typically face challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, limited access to education and healthcare, and high rates of poverty.
Many underdeveloped countries rely heavily on agriculture and have limited access to technology and resources. International organizations, such as the United Nations and World Bank, often provide assistance to help these nations improve their economic conditions and quality of life for their citizens.
