Unconditional Election
Unconditional Election is a theological concept primarily associated with Reformed theology and the teachings of John Calvin. It asserts that God has chosen certain individuals for salvation without any conditions based on their actions or faith. This means that God's choice is not influenced by anything the individual does, but solely by His divine will and purpose.
According to this doctrine, those who are elected will ultimately receive grace and be saved, while others are not chosen. This belief emphasizes God's sovereignty in the process of salvation and highlights the idea that human effort or merit plays no role in being selected for eternal life.
