Umpires
Umpires are officials in sports who ensure that the rules of the game are followed. They make decisions on plays, such as whether a player is safe or out in baseball or if a ball is in or out in tennis. Umpires help maintain fair play and order during competitions.
In addition to making calls during games, umpires also communicate with players and coaches. They often use signals and verbal cues to indicate their decisions. Umpires are trained professionals who must have a deep understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport they officiate.
