Ulrich of Württemberg
Ulrich of Württemberg (1487–1550) was a Duke of Württemberg, a region in present-day Germany. He is known for his efforts to modernize his duchy and for his role in the Protestant Reformation. Ulrich initially lost his duchy due to political conflicts but later regained it with the help of Martin Luther and Philip Melanchthon.
During his reign, Ulrich implemented significant reforms in governance and religion, promoting the spread of Lutheranism. His leadership helped shape the cultural and political landscape of Württemberg, making it an important center for the Reformation in southern Germany.
