Ulnar Artery
The Ulnar Artery is one of the two main arteries in the forearm, the other being the Radial Artery. It originates from the Brachial Artery near the elbow and runs along the inner side of the forearm. This artery supplies blood to the muscles and tissues of the forearm and hand, playing a crucial role in the circulatory system.
As it travels down the forearm, the Ulnar Artery branches into smaller arteries, including the Superficial Palmar Arch, which supplies blood to the palm of the hand. Proper blood flow through the Ulnar Artery is essential for hand function and overall limb health.
