Uffington White Horse
The Uffington White Horse is a large chalk hill figure located in Oxfordshire, England. It depicts a stylized horse and measures about 110 meters long. The figure is believed to date back to the late Bronze Age or early Iron Age, making it over 3,000 years old.
The horse is created by removing the topsoil to reveal the white chalk beneath. It is part of the Uffington Castle site, which includes an ancient hillfort. The Uffington White Horse is a popular tourist attraction and is maintained by the National Trust.
