Udaloy-class
The Udaloy-class is a series of anti-submarine destroyers developed by the Soviet Union in the 1970s. Designed primarily for anti-submarine warfare, these ships are equipped with advanced sonar systems and torpedoes, making them effective against underwater threats. They also feature surface-to-air missiles for air defense and can support various naval operations.
There are two main variants of the Udaloy-class: the original Udaloy I and the upgraded Udaloy II. The class has been used by the Russian Navy and has seen service in various naval exercises. Their design reflects a focus on multi-role capabilities, enhancing maritime security.
