Uber Cup
The Uber Cup is an international women's team badminton championship, established in 1956. It is named after the American badminton player Marjorie "Midge" Uber, who was instrumental in promoting women's badminton. The tournament is held every two years and features teams from various countries competing for the title.
The competition is organized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and is one of the most prestigious events in women's badminton. Teams compete in a series of matches, including singles and doubles, to accumulate points and determine the overall winner. The Uber Cup is often seen as the women's equivalent of the Thomas Cup, which is for men's teams.
