USS St. Paul (CL-73)
The USS St. Paul (CL-73) was a Cleveland-class light cruiser of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1944. Designed for versatility, she served primarily during World War II, participating in various operations in the Pacific Theater. The ship was equipped with advanced radar and weaponry for its time, allowing it to engage enemy ships and provide support for amphibious assaults.
After the war, the USS St. Paul continued to serve in the Navy, participating in the Korean War and later in various peacetime operations. She was decommissioned in 1970 and eventually sold for scrap, marking the end of her nearly three-decade service.
