USS S-41
The USS S-41 (SS-146) was a United States Navy submarine, part of the S-class fleet. Launched on March 24, 1942, it was designed for coastal defense and anti-submarine warfare during World War II. The submarine was equipped with torpedoes and had a displacement of around 1,500 tons when submerged.
After serving in the Pacific Theater, the USS S-41 was decommissioned on June 30, 1945. It was later sold for scrap in 1948. The S-class submarines, including the S-41, played a crucial role in enhancing the U.S. Navy's underwater capabilities during the war.
