USS Orion (AS-18)
The USS Orion (AS-18) was a submarine tender of the United States Navy, launched on 31 March 1943. Designed to support submarines, it provided maintenance, repair, and logistical support. Commissioned on 15 December 1943, the USS Orion served in various locations, including the Pacific Theater.
