USS Orion (AF-15) History
The USS Orion (AF-15) was a stores ship of the United States Navy, launched on December 19, 1943. It was commissioned on April 15, 1944, and served primarily during World War II, providing essential supplies to naval forces in the Pacific Theater. The ship played a crucial role in supporting operations by delivering food, ammunition, and other provisions to various ships and bases.
