USS Kaskaskia (AOG-24) History
The USS Kaskaskia (AOG-24) was a gasoline tanker of the United States Navy, launched on 15 March 1944. She was commissioned on 30 June 1944 and served primarily during World War II, providing essential fuel support to naval vessels in the Pacific Theater.
After the war, the Kaskaskia continued to operate, supporting military operations during the Korean War and later in Vietnam. She was decommissioned on 1 July 1970 and struck from the Naval Vessel Register in 1975, marking the end of her service in the U.S. Navy.
