USS Halyburton
The USS Halyburton (FFG-40) is a guided missile frigate of the United States Navy, named after Lieutenant Commander Don Halyburton, a naval aviator who was killed in action during the Vietnam War. Commissioned in 1983, the ship is part of the Oliver Hazard Perry class and is designed for anti-submarine warfare, surface warfare, and air defense.
