USS Bainbridge (DD-246)
The USS Bainbridge (DD-246) was a Bainbridge-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on December 15, 1919. It was named after Commodore William Bainbridge, a notable naval officer during the War of 1812. The ship was commissioned on June 30, 1921, and served primarily in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Throughout its service, the USS Bainbridge participated in various naval exercises and operations, including training missions and fleet maneuvers. The destroyer was decommissioned on June 1, 1945, after serving in World War II, and was eventually sold for scrap in 1946.
