USFL
The United States Football League (USFL) is a professional American football league that was originally established in 1983. It aimed to provide an alternative to the National Football League (NFL) and featured teams from various cities across the United States. The league played its games in the spring and summer months, allowing players to compete without overlapping with the NFL season.
After a brief run, the original USFL folded in 1985 due to financial difficulties and legal challenges. In 2022, a new version of the USFL was launched, reviving the brand with a modern format and updated teams, continuing the tradition of spring football.
