US Soccer
US Soccer refers to the governing body for soccer in the United States, officially known as the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Founded in 1913, it oversees all levels of soccer, including youth, amateur, and professional leagues. The organization is responsible for promoting the sport, organizing competitions, and managing the national teams, including the U.S. Men's National Team and the U.S. Women's National Team.
The U.S. Women's National Team has been particularly successful, winning multiple FIFA Women's World Cup titles. The sport has grown in popularity over the years, with increasing participation at youth levels and a growing fan base for professional leagues like Major League Soccer (MLS). US Soccer aims to develop the game and enhance its presence both domestically and internationally.
