UPSC
The UPSC, or Union Public Service Commission, is India's central agency responsible for conducting various competitive examinations for recruitment to civil services and other government positions. Established in 1926, it plays a crucial role in selecting candidates for prestigious roles in the Indian government, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination annually, which consists of three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview. This rigorous selection process ensures that only the most qualified candidates are chosen to serve in key administrative roles, contributing to the effective governance of the country.
