UNCITRAL
The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, commonly known as UNCITRAL, is a legal body established in 1966 to promote the progressive harmonization and unification of international trade law. It aims to create a fair and efficient legal framework for international trade, facilitating cross-border transactions and reducing legal obstacles.
UNCITRAL develops legal texts, such as conventions, model laws, and rules, which member states can adopt to improve their trade laws. Its work covers various areas, including arbitration, electronic commerce, and insolvency, helping countries adapt to the evolving global trade environment.
