UK Trade & Investment
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) was a government department in the United Kingdom that aimed to support businesses in expanding their international trade. It provided guidance, resources, and financial assistance to help UK companies enter new markets and increase exports. UKTI also worked to attract foreign investment into the UK, promoting the country as a favorable destination for international businesses.
In 2016, UKTI was merged into Department for International Trade (DIT), which continues to focus on similar objectives. The DIT aims to enhance the UK's global trading relationships and support economic growth by helping businesses navigate the complexities of international markets.
