UHF (Frequency)
UHF, or Ultra High Frequency, refers to a range of radio frequencies from 300 MHz to 3 GHz. This frequency band is commonly used for television broadcasting, mobile phones, and two-way radios. UHF waves have shorter wavelengths, allowing them to carry more data and provide better signal quality over shorter distances.
Due to their higher frequency, UHF signals can penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than lower frequencies. This makes them ideal for urban environments where interference from structures can disrupt communication. UHF is also used in various applications, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS technology.
