UEFA 유로파 리그
The UEFA 유로파 리그 is an annual football club competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). It features teams from various European leagues that do not qualify for the more prestigious UEFA 챔피언스 리그. The tournament typically begins with a group stage, followed by knockout rounds, culminating in a final match to determine the champion.
Established in 1971, the UEFA 유로파 리그 has evolved from its original format, known as the UEFA 컵, to include more teams and a wider range of participating countries. The competition provides clubs with the opportunity to gain international experience and prestige, as well as a pathway to qualify for the UEFA 챔피언스 리그.
