U.S. Tennis Association
The U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for tennis in the United States. Founded in 1881, it promotes and develops the sport at all levels, from grassroots programs to professional competitions. The USTA is responsible for organizing major events, including the U.S. Open, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
In addition to hosting tournaments, the USTA offers various programs to encourage participation in tennis, such as youth initiatives and community outreach. It also oversees the rules and regulations of the game, ensuring fair play and sportsmanship across the country.
