U.S. Route 266
U.S. Route 266 is a former highway in the United States that ran through the state of Oklahoma. It was established in the 1920s and served as a connector between several key towns and cities in the region. The route primarily facilitated local travel and commerce before being decommissioned in the 1980s.
The highway spanned approximately 100 miles, linking Tulsa to Oklahoma City. Although it is no longer an official U.S. Route, parts of the original alignment are still used as local roads, preserving its historical significance in the development of the area's transportation network.
