Typing Devices
Typing devices are tools used to input text into computers and other electronic devices. The most common typing device is the keyboard, which consists of keys that represent letters, numbers, and symbols. Keyboards can be mechanical or membrane-based, and they come in various layouts, such as QWERTY and AZERTY.
Another type of typing device is the typewriter, a mechanical machine that prints letters on paper as keys are pressed. Although typewriters have largely been replaced by computers, they played a significant role in the history of writing and document creation. Other typing devices include touchscreens and voice recognition software, which allow users to input text in different ways.
