Typhoon-class submarine
The Typhoon-class submarine is a class of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines developed by the former Soviet Union. Designed to carry and launch intercontinental ballistic missiles, these submarines are among the largest in the world, measuring about 175 meters in length. They can operate at great depths and are equipped with advanced stealth technology to evade detection.
Each Typhoon-class submarine can carry up to 20 RSM-52 missiles, which are capable of delivering nuclear warheads. The submarines are primarily used by the Russian Navy and play a crucial role in the country's strategic nuclear deterrent capabilities.
