Types of Braids
There are several popular types of braids, each with unique styles and techniques. The most common include the three-strand braid, where three sections of hair are intertwined, and the French braid, which incorporates hair from the sides as it progresses down. Another popular style is the Dutch braid, similar to the French braid but with the sections woven under instead of over, creating a raised effect.
Other variations include the fishtail braid, made by dividing hair into two sections and alternating small pieces from each side, and the box braid, which involves dividing hair into square sections and braiding them individually. Each braid type can be customized for different looks and occasions.
