Types of Bets
There are several common types of bets in gambling. A straight bet is the simplest form, where you wager on a single outcome, such as a team winning a game. Point spreads and moneyline bets are also popular, with point spreads leveling the playing field between two teams, while moneyline bets focus solely on which team will win, regardless of the score.
Another type is the parlay bet, where you combine multiple bets into one, increasing potential payouts but also the risk, as all selections must win. Over/under bets allow you to wager on whether the total score will be above or below a specified number, adding another layer of strategy to betting.
