Types of Aviation
Aviation can be broadly categorized into two main types: civil aviation and military aviation. Civil aviation includes all non-military flights, such as commercial airlines, cargo transport, and private flying. It focuses on passenger and freight services, operating under regulations set by authorities like the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Military aviation, on the other hand, involves the use of aircraft for defense and combat purposes. This includes fighter jets, bombers, and transport planes used by armed forces. Military aviation plays a crucial role in national security and can also support humanitarian missions and disaster relief efforts.
