Turkic peoples
The Turkic peoples are a diverse group of ethnic groups that share a common linguistic and cultural heritage. They primarily inhabit regions in Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Siberia. The Turkic languages belong to the larger Altaic language family, and include languages such as Turkish, Kazakh, and Uighur.
Historically, the Turkic peoples have played significant roles in the development of various empires, including the Gokturk Khaganate and the Ottoman Empire. Today, they are spread across several countries, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan, each maintaining unique traditions and customs while sharing a common Turkic identity.
