Tung Chung Line
The Tung Chung Line is a rapid transit line in the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) system of Hong Kong. It connects Tung Chung, a new town on Lantau Island, to Hong Kong Station in Central. The line spans approximately 34 kilometers and features six stations, providing convenient access to various residential and commercial areas.
Opened in 1991, the Tung Chung Line plays a vital role in facilitating travel for residents and tourists. It also serves as a gateway to attractions like the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and the Tian Tan Buddha. The line is known for its scenic views of the surrounding mountains and coastline.
