Tung Chee-Hwa
Tung Chee-Hwa is a prominent Hong Kong businessman and politician who served as the first Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 1997 to 2002. He played a significant role in the transition of Hong Kong from British rule to Chinese sovereignty, overseeing the implementation of the "one country, two systems" principle.
Before entering politics, Tung was a successful entrepreneur, founding the shipping company Orient Overseas Container Line. He has also been involved in various charitable and educational initiatives, contributing to the development of Hong Kong's economy and society.
