Tundra Swan
The Tundra Swan is a large waterfowl native to the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions of North America and Eurasia. It is known for its striking white plumage, long neck, and distinctive black bill. These swans migrate south during the winter, often traveling in large flocks to find open water and food.
Tundra Swans primarily feed on aquatic plants, grains, and small invertebrates. They are social birds, often seen in pairs or family groups. Their breeding season occurs in the summer, where they build nests near water sources, laying 3 to 5 eggs that both parents help incubate.
