Tulang Lunak
Tulang Lunak, or cartilage, is a flexible connective tissue found in various parts of the body. It provides support and cushioning in joints, such as the knees and elbows, and is also present in structures like the nose and ears. Unlike bone, tulang lunak is softer and more pliable, allowing for greater movement and flexibility.
In addition to its structural role, tulang lunak plays a crucial part in the growth and development of bones. During childhood and adolescence, it serves as a precursor to bone tissue, gradually transforming into hard bone through a process called ossification. This transformation is essential for proper skeletal development.
