Tulane Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Opened in 1926, it primarily served as the home field for the Tulane University Green Wave football team. The stadium had a seating capacity of around 30,000 and was known for its distinctive architecture and vibrant atmosphere during games.
The stadium hosted various events, including college football games and concerts, until its closure in 1980. After its demolition in 1981, the site was redeveloped for other uses. Today, the legacy of Tulane Stadium remains a significant part of New Orleans' sports history.
