Tubeless Systems
A tubeless system is a type of tire design that eliminates the need for an inner tube. Instead, the tire itself forms an airtight seal with the rim, allowing it to hold air directly. This design reduces the risk of punctures and improves performance, as the tire can be run at lower pressures for better traction and comfort.
In a tubeless setup, a special sealant is often used to help seal small punctures automatically. This system is commonly found in bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles, providing advantages like reduced weight and improved handling compared to traditional tube-based tires.
