Trap Types
Trap types refer to various methods used to capture animals, often for research, pest control, or wildlife management. Common types include live traps, which capture animals without harming them, and kill traps, designed to quickly and humanely euthanize the target species. Each type is suited for different situations and species, ensuring effective and ethical trapping.
In addition to live and kill traps, there are also scent traps that use bait to attract animals, and foot traps that capture an animal by its limbs. Understanding these trap types helps in selecting the appropriate method for specific wildlife management goals while minimizing harm to non-target species.
