Transgender Women
Transgender women are individuals who were assigned male at birth but identify and live as women. Their gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth. Many transgender women may choose to undergo medical procedures, such as hormone therapy or surgery, to align their physical appearance with their gender identity, but not all do.
The experiences of transgender women can vary widely, influenced by factors such as culture, social acceptance, and personal circumstances. Advocacy for the rights of transgender women often focuses on issues like discrimination, healthcare access, and legal recognition, aiming to promote equality and understanding in society.
