Trans-European Motorway
The Trans-European Motorway (TEM) is a network of highways designed to facilitate road transport across Europe. Established in the 1970s, it aims to improve connectivity between member countries of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The network includes major routes that link cities and regions, enhancing trade and travel.
The TEM consists of over 7,000 kilometers of roads, connecting various countries from Portugal to Turkey. It is part of a broader initiative to create a cohesive transport infrastructure in Europe, promoting economic growth and regional development while ensuring safety and efficiency in road transport.
