Trade Center
The "Trade Center" typically refers to the World Trade Center complex located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It was originally built in the 1970s and included several buildings, with the most notable being the Twin Towers. The complex served as a hub for international trade and finance, housing numerous businesses and organizations.
The original Twin Towers were tragically destroyed during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Since then, the site has been rebuilt, featuring the One World Trade Center, which stands as the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. The area also includes the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, honoring the lives lost in the attacks.
