Tower Comics
Tower Comics was an American comic book publisher active from the 1960s to the early 1970s. Founded by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, it aimed to compete with larger companies like Marvel and DC Comics. The publisher is best known for its unique characters and stories, including titles like T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents and The Green Hornet.
Despite its innovative approach, Tower Comics struggled to maintain a foothold in the competitive comic book market. The company ceased operations in 1969, but its characters and stories have since gained a cult following, influencing later comic book creators and publishers.
