Todd Young is an American politician serving as a United States Senator from Indiana. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been in office since January 2017. Before his election to the Senate, Young served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017, representing Indiana's 9th congressional district. Born on August 24, 1972, in Bloomington, Indiana, Young graduated from Dartmouth College and later earned a law degree from Indiana University.
