Titan IV
The Titan IV was a heavy-lift launch vehicle used by the United States from 1989 to 2005. It was designed to carry large payloads into space, including satellites and interplanetary missions. The rocket was developed by Lockheed Martin and was part of the Titan family of rockets, which had been in service since the 1950s.
The Titan IV featured two solid rocket boosters and a powerful liquid-fueled core stage, allowing it to deliver payloads of up to 22,000 kilograms to low Earth orbit. It was primarily used for military and intelligence missions, supporting the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and contributing to national security efforts.
