Tippi Hedren
Tippi Hedren is an American actress and former model, best known for her roles in classic films directed by Alfred Hitchcock, particularly in The Birds (1963) and Marnie (1964). Born on January 19, 1930, in New Ulm, Minnesota, she began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. Her work with Hitchcock made her a prominent figure in Hollywood during the 1960s.
In addition to her film career, Hedren is an animal rights activist and has dedicated much of her life to the protection of big cats. She founded the Shambala Preserve in California, which provides a sanctuary for lions, tigers, and other exotic animals.
