Tiantai school
The Tiantai school is a significant tradition of Chinese Buddhism that emerged during the 6th century. Founded by the monk Zhiyi, it emphasizes the importance of the Lotus Sutra and teaches that all phenomena are interconnected. The school is known for its systematic approach to Buddhist teachings, integrating various doctrines and practices.
Tiantai Buddhism also focuses on meditation and the concept of "three truths," which include the ultimate reality, the conventional reality, and the middle way. This framework helps practitioners understand the nature of existence and attain enlightenment through a balanced perspective on life and spirituality.
